Bradley Academy of Excellence Reviews

This is overall a good school. Having said that, the schools should make efforts to organize more parent - teacher meets to communicate areas of improvements for the kids.

Bradley Academy is an excellent school for your an aspiring student. I admit that like most schools it was a little rocky getting out of the gate but after 7 years of operations I feel the school has shown promise. A great school is one that progresses the community, families, and students. I feel Bradley is now accomplishing these goals seamlessly. If you have not considered Bradley Academy based upon some of the earlier reviews I would suggest considering them for your child needs using your own criteria and ultimately make your own decision. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Unless your child is African American expect them to be outcasted by Bradley Academy of Execellence. The Staff makes a point that the school was build for the immediate family of the Director and is firm in its belief and teachings that African Americans are a better people. If your wish as a parent is to teach your child to understand and accept all people no matter what their race Bradly is not the school for you.

I think this school is great. I do not think it's a school for rejects. That was an awful comment someone made. My 2 kids go to this school and have learned so much and are doing very good and I chose this school at first because it was smaller and I thought it would be better with smaller classes and I made an excellent decision. My kids are good kids and were never rejected from public schools, I just thought they could learn more from bradley, and they have.

The only thing hold that school together is the teachers. The teachers are great, but the administration is horable. The have no kind of organization or consistancy. I'm surprised that the teachers are still teaching there. I believe the only reason why they are still there is because of the students. My children and I'm sure other students did not have any homework for a period of time because the copier in the office was broke. I will NEVER recommend this school to anyone!

I had 3 children attending Bradley. Only one of them had the same teacher throughout the year, and she was excellent. My other two children, however, went through a different teacher every 2 or 3 months. The school is not being run properly, they are not concerned with hiring qualified teachers. Im not saying there are not a few great teachers there, but Bradley cannot seem to keep them around. There has been some very troubling behavior by a couple of the teachers that was swept under the rug by the administration `

Bradley was a good idea, however the teachers were awful! Kids would be in fights in front of teachers who did nothing. There was little to no parent participation and the classes were running about 20-25 students per teacher. Some parents tried to make a changes but it was just not wanted by the staff. I hope their changes do some good for this years children.

My son was not doing well in the Public School setting so I decided to move him to Bradley Academy. This was the best choice I could have made for him. Due to the fact that this school has about 10 to 15 students to every teacher rather than 20 or 30 my son has improved and is now a straight a student. I think this school is amazing! The staff is very friendly and they show concern for the education of children. Bradley Academy is an excellent school and you will be happy with your childs success.

We are very excited for the up coming school year; Bradley Academy of Excellence has reorganized their administrative staff and brought in seasoned administrators such as Dr. Williams, he has over 35 years of organizational management skills. Dr. Williams has brought with him some very experienced teachers that have taught in the Arizona school districts and internationally. With the new renovations of the school inside and out, I am looking forward to a very successful 2007-2008 school year. With many of the staff having a military background, the school is promoting a zero tolerance program and a drug free campus.

My child has attended bradley since kinder and is now in the 3rd grade.I am very happy with the progress each year. Bradley is a small school with a very safe and friendly environment. I feel that there were some teacher issue this year, but that they were rectified. The curriculum is strong my child could read above grade by the time she left kinder.

Bradley has a good plan built but the teachers don't teach it. Administration is lacking in control and discipline of the children. Many times there has been a child that as been told 'if you do it again, you'll be suspended'. Same actions, no consequences. No follow through. The curriculum offered is great. They use the Saxon program, I just wish it was used appropriately.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate it a -10. They have a great academic standard set up but it is not being taught appropriately. My child's report card came home, 2 weeks later we got a different report card sent home with a note at the bottom that the grades had been revised. How can grades be revised, they are what they are right? Poor.

Unsafe. Uncontrolled. Lacking needs of the students.

Bradley Academy in Avondale is a school for elementary school rejects. This school runs rampant with out-of-control children and beyond their limits teachers. F-

I love this school. Teachers and admin really care about the kids and the ratios allow my kids more one on one time with the teachers.
